Add the stew.io bot to your Discord server

What the bot does

Once added and bound to a league (via /stew setup-league, run in Discord), the bot lets your server submit and cross-post incident clips, and posts vote embeds for that league's community verdicts. Setup happens entirely through /stew slash commands in Discord itself, not on this site.

Why it asks for "Manage Server"

Manage Server is Discord’s own admin gate. This app uses it to check that whoever runs one of three commands is actually a server admin: /stew setup-league, /stew unbind, and /stew link-listener. The bot doesn’t get any other server-management ability from this permission — it’s what Discord requires to check you’re an admin, not a capability the bot exercises beyond that check.

Why only one channel

Once bound, the bot only ever reads and posts in the single channel /stew setup-league was run in. It never scans or posts anywhere else in your server.

Once added, an admin can run /stew setup-league <league-slug> in the channel you want it to use.
